Gay & Terry Woods. Gay: Vocals 1969-70; 1994-2001 Terry: Multi Instrumentalist 1969-1970. Terry and Gay Woods formed part of the original line up of Steeleye Span. It was Terry Woods, along with Ashley Hutchings who first conceived of the idea of Steeleye.
Gay Woods. Born on 18 Sep 1948. Former vocalist and concertina player in the band Steeleye Span with her then husband Terry Woods. After leaving the group she played with Terry in The Woods Band and later as just Gay & Terry Woods. After they split up, she formed Auto Da Fé.
Gay Corcoran (b.1948) and Terry Woods (b.1947) recorded together for most of the 1970s. They first began performing in 1963. Terry Woods played in numerous bands during the '60s before replacing Joe Dolan in Sweeney's Men in 1967.
