Band-Maiko is the first extended play by Japanese rock group Band-Maid (as Band-Maiko). It was released on April 3, 2019, by Revolver Records. In the EP, their maiko costumes and the music with Kyoto dialect lyrics and wagakki became a very popular topic of discussion.

The Limited Edition CD/DVD combo is a standard jewel case, but it is wrapped in a soft pouch, which is then enclosed in a plastic box. Tracks 1 to 6 are maiko versions of previously released Band-Maid songs. Track 7 is an original Band-Maiko song.
Under the name Band-Maiko and adopting a maiko image, the band released an EP titled Band-Maiko in April 2019, which adapted several previous Band-Maid songs with traditional Japanese musical instruments and lyrics in the Kyoto dialect.

BAND-MAIKO is a sub-unit of BAND-MAID that first appeared as an April Fool's Day prank on April 1, 2018. The prank had a good reception from the fans, and as a result they returned on April 1, 2019, releasing their first mini album. [1] The concept behind it is summed up as "Maiko x Hard Rock."
