Warren Cooke lives and works on the Western Port side of Mornington Peninsula, a unique coastal region that forms the genesis of his work. Engaging with the ever-shifting spaces of transition between land, sea and sky, Cooke develops reduction woodcuts to create multilayered artworks.

About Warren Cooke. I create artworks about the landscapes in which I live or have lived in the past. Some feelings from distant memories drive me to re-visit places where I grew up; to rediscover parts of my life.
Warren graduated in 1994 from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Melbourne University majoring in printmaking including etching, stone lithography, relief printmaking and art history. Warren has worked as a picture framer learning archival practice when handling and displaying artworks.
