5 de abr. de 2024 · February 12, 2010 - February 28, 210. Location: British Columbia. Canada. Vancouver. The XXI Olympic Winter Games opened in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on February 12 and closed on February 28, 2010.
The Olympics came to Canada for a third time in 2010, as Vancouver was the site of the XXI Olympic Winter Games ( Montreal had hosted the Summer Games in 1976 and Calgary the Winter Games in 1988).

For the Movement, the Games advanced the cause of universality and expanded the global reach of the world’s premier sporting event.
