Self taught drummer, Andrés has played with many artists in different musical styles. His roots led him to study the afro-Venezuelan rhythms. His main interest has been focused on adapting the Afro-Venezuelan folkloric drums and percussion rhythms to the drum set, an “invader” instrument in Venezuelan folklore music.
