Texas Rock for Country Rollers is the third album by American country-music singer Doug Sahm. Sahm composed for the album seven original songs, while covers constituted the rest of the album. It was released by ABC-Dot in 1976. Recording. The album was recorded at SugarHill Recording Studios, in Houston, Texas.

In 1976, Sahm collaborated again with Meaux on the release of Texas Rock For Country Rollers. Besides vocals, Sahm played lead guitar, fiddle and piano. Meyers also joined the project and performed on the piano and organ. The same year, Sahm appeared on the fifth episode of the first season of Austin City Limits.
While Doug was never afraid to Texas Rock, he'd never Country Rolled so decisively. Band-wise, the album was attributed to the Texas Tornados, but they shouldn't be confused with Sahm's Tex-Mex supergroup of the 1990s.
