Arts Educational Schools, or ArtsEd, is an independent performing arts school based in Chiswick in the London Borough of Hounslow . Overview[edit] ArtsEd provides specialist vocational training at secondary, further and higher education level in musical theatre and acting for film and television.
ArtsEd is here to set the world alight with young talent. Our highly skilled and dedicated staff share their expertise, as well as their passion for performance, with pupils, sixth formers, undergraduates and postgraduates. All with a unique energy and joy, in our welcoming west London home. Making it in the performing arts isn’t easy.
ArtsEd originated from two schools, one founded in 1919 by Grace Cone and one founded in 1922 by Olive Ripman. These two educational pioneers believed passionately in the value of combining a general academic education with specialised training in dance, drama, music and art.
