Kyabje Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche (Tibetan: ཕྲིན་ལས་ནོར་བུ།, Wylie: phrin las nor bu, THL: Trinlé Norbu; Chinese: 聽列諾布) (1931 – December 26, 2011) was a major modern teacher in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, and patron of the Vajrayana Foundation.
Thinley Norbu Rinpoche (1931-2011) is widely considered one of the most extraordinary Buddhist teachers of the 20th century. His father was Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, and was recognized as an emanation of Longchenpa and reincarnation of Drime Ozer, the son of Dudjom Lingpa.
Thinley Norbu Rinpoche or Dungsé Thinley Norbu (Tib. གདུང་སྲས་ཕྲིན་ལས་ནོར་བུ་, Wyl. gdung sras phrin las nor bu) (1931-2011) was a prominent modern teacher in the Nyingma lineage. As the eldest son of Dudjom Rinpoche, he was trained in Tibet and became a main Dudjom Tersar lineage holder.
