Rastakraut Pasta is the first full-length album by German electronic music duo of Dieter Moebius and Conny Plank. Rastakraut Pasta was recorded in September 1979 at Conny's Studio outside of Cologne. It was released by Sky Records in 1980.

In 1979 he went into the studio with Dieter Moebius to record the first Moebius & Plank album, Rastakraut Pasta which was released the following year. 1980s [ edit ] Plank continued to work as one half of the duo Moebius & Plank, recording four additional albums.

Another is the African-inflected Zero Set , credited to Moebius-Plank-Neumeier, on which the duo are joined by percussionist Mani Neumeier (who began his career with the aforementioned Alexander von Schlippenbach in the 1960s).

In September, 1979 Moebius & Plank went to Conny's Studio to record their first album, Rastakraut Pasta. 1980–1986 Moebius & Plank Recordings. Rastakraut Pasta was released in 1980 on the Hamburg-based Sky Records label. It featured offbeat and experimental electronic music, at times influenced by reggae as the album title suggests.
