Sacred Heart School. On the 19th of April 1876, 83 pupils were enrolled into the new school, which was run by Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity. Before the end of that term, the number of pupils had increased to 250.
He created 18 new parishes and oversaw the construction of nine elementary and five high schools. Ready founded two nursing homes, the diocesan Child Guidance Center, and the Catholic Student Center at Ohio State University.
Sacred Heart High School boasts 98 years of experience in Catholic Education. Our students leave the "Heart" with a love for learning and service.
Our school exists as an educational alternative which values and is committed to serving a diverse population with varying needs and aptitudes. We believe our services must extend beyond the classroom.
Sacred Heart. The parish school opened in September 1917 with 152 students and became the second Catholic grade school in Marshfield. In 1996, with the development of the middle school, Sacred Heart went from K-8 to K-6. At the end of the 2000-2001 school year, because of declining enrollment, Sacred Heart school closed its doors.
