Fudge Smith from the band La Host joined on drums and the ‘disco/soul influenced’ session keyboard player James Colah [Nick – “he had a Mini Moog , we thought he would be good!”] was drafted in to complete the 9.15 Live album tour. During this time Nick, Peter & Greg were making trips to and from London chasing that elusive record deal.

Put together by NO-MAN's vocalist/guitarist Tim Bowness, this band features PENDRAGON drummer Fudge Smith as well as keyboardist Stephen Bennett (who shares compositional duties with Bowness), bassist Peter Chilvers, guitarist Mike Bearpark and sax player Myke Clifford.
Scott Hingham substituted their drummer Fudge Smith who was with the band since their second studio album "Kowtow". So, the line up on the album is Nick Barrett (vocals, guitars and keyboard programming), Clive Nolan (keyboards and backing vocals), Peter Gee (bass guitar) and Scott Hingham (drums and backing vocals). "Pure" has five tracks.
