  1. The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Program at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary participates in the seminary’s mission by connecting faith leaders with each other, with scholars recognized in their fields, and with distinguished practitioners of Christian ministry.

  2. 20 de nov. de 2020 · Students who fail the same course twice are dismissed. CUM GPA Below 2.5 – When a student’s CUM GPA falls below 2.50 the student is placed on probation. In order to graduate a student must have a CUM GPA of 2.50 or higher. A student is dismissed if the CUM GPA is below 2.50 for two semesters of full-time course work.

  3. The Doctor of Ministry is a three-year program structured as follows: Year 1 – Coursework. Year 2 – Coursework and mid-program evaluations. Year 3 – Candidacy including proposal and project development, project report, and defense Students may take a maximum of six years to complete the Doctor of Ministry degree.

  4. E.3.2.1 The DMin program shall require the equivalent of one full year of academic study and the completion of the doctoral project. Normally, the degree shall require not fewer than three nor more than six years to complete, although the Commission on Accrediting may approve alternative degree designs.

  5. Demonstrate a grasp of diverse historical, theological, and contextual dimensions of global and decolonized Christian spirituality and Spiritual Direction. Understand various Christian spiritual practices and the methods deployed in the effective practice of Spiritual Direction.
