3 de ago. de 2004 · Zombi's Relapse Records/Release Entertainment debut Cosmos is a powerful work of eerie, relentless rhythms and futuristic score that shares as much headspace with the late-night sci-fi explorer as the space rock adventurer.
Cosmos is the first full-length record released by space rock/prog duo Zombi. All songs were written by both members of the duo, except "Cassiopeia" and "Andromeda" which were written and performed by bassist-keyboard player Steve Moore.
Zombi is a Pennsylvania duo that plays electronic cosmic music that can be reminiscent from groups as far apart as Tangerine Dream to Djam Kater or Nebelnest. This duo comprising Steve Moore as a keyboardist/bassist, while Paterra is the percussionist.
Punctuated by Moore and Paterra's seasoned songwriting skills, each Zombi song -whether grand in design like "Night Rhythms" from the band's forthcoming LP or powerful and driving like "Orion," the opening track on Cosmos -is entirely autonomous and true to the duo's creative vision.
