David Jack Peverett (16 April 1943 – 7 February 2000), also known as Lonesome Dave, was an English singer and guitarist, best known as the original lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Foghat, which he co-founded following his tenure in Savoy Brown.
Jim Heyl and Dave Olson replaced Ramirez and Pierleoni for the 1994 album Bring It Home. During the second half of the 1990s, Savoy Brown was centred around Simmonds and bassist Nathaniel Peterson, both of whom shared lead vocal duties.

7 de feb. de 2024 · ‘Lonesome’ Dave Peverett finally succumbed to his illness in 2000. It was a devastating blow, but Roger felt Dave would have wanted them to continue. “Dave was the heart and soul of this band,” Roger says. “Even when he started to get sick, he was still great to play with.”
