Paul Martinez. Paice Ashton Lord was a short-lived British rock band featuring Deep Purple band members Ian Paice and Jon Lord with singer Tony Ashton. The band was formed in 1976, released its only album in 1977 and broke up in 1978.

4 de oct. de 2022 · Instead of going down the Rainbow or Whitesnake route Paice and Lord went back to their roots and played they loved themselves. Tony Ashton sounds great and the lyrics are very reflective of their musical journeys.
I love Paice Ashton Lord since I heard Malice In Wonderland when I was 10 years old! Tony Ashton’s style of vocal was SO UNIQUE he just caught my ear straight away! Sadly, a short lived project, but when you watch them all live and doing there thing, the chemistry is delightful!
