Contact Us. Welcome to Badger Precollege. What can young learners do at UW–Madison this summer? Just about anything. Badger Precollege offers an array of academic programs for students ages 7-18 — from advanced learning programs and STEM classes to music clinics and college readiness conferences.
Rising juniors and seniors in high school can apply to take classes at UW–Madison during Summer Term, where they’ll earn college credit for face-to-face and online courses. Students take courses with experienced college students and establish an official UW–Madison transcript.
A first-year student includes anyone who is currently a student in high school or who has not taken college coursework since graduating from high school. Starting on August 1 every year, you can begin applying to the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
