26 de oct. de 2021 · Keyboardist and composer Craig Taborn has created a new online work of 60 pieces, each about 60 seconds in length, that will play in a randomized order when a listener goes to the 60xSixty website and hits “play.”
The following year, Taborn digitally released 60 x Sixty -- 60 pieces of 60 seconds each, meant to be played in any order in an hour. In late 2021, ECM issued the live Shadow Plays, an improvised recital recorded at Vienna's Konzerthaus in March 2020.
He is also a member of the instrumental electronic art-pop group Golden Valley is Now and performs frequently on solo electronics. His conceptual work 60 x Sixty is now available worldwide, for free at 60xSixty.com. Craig lives in Brooklyn. Craig Taborn is an American pianist, electronic musician and composer/improviser.
