Pall Mall Groove is an album recorded by Hot Ice and first released in 1977. Hot Ice consisted of Gregory Williams, Jody Sims, Bobby DeBarge, Phillip Ingram, Tommy DeBarge, T.C. Brown, Stanley Brown, Darnell Wyrick and Arnett Hayes.
Switch is an American R&B/funk band that recorded for the Gordy label in the late 1970s, releasing songs such as "There'll Never Be", "I Call Your Name", and "Love Over & Over Again". Switch influenced bands such as DeBarge, which featured the siblings of Switch band members Bobby and Tommy DeBarge.
White Heat is the self titled debut album of future Switch members Gregory Williams, Bobby DeBarge and Jody Sims. The album was released in 1975 and produced by R&B notable Barry White.
6 de may. de 2022 · After their one LP with Barry White’s production crew, the band not yet known as Switch moved along. Temporarily assuming the name Hot-Ice, they released Pall Mall Groove in 1977. It’s an album that was a disco-funky good time. However the LP was only put out in Europe by Polydor Records.

The album appeared a year before their Motown debut as Switch. The album was commissioned by Bernd Lichters and was initially released only in Germany, Lichters' home country, through Polydor Records.
