Autumn of Their Years is a compilation album by American rock band The Beau Brummels. It was released in 1994 by Big Beat Records , and re-released in 2003 by Ace Records . The album consists of 26 songs recorded by the band during their stint at Autumn Records , including previously unreleased demos and outtakes.

The Beau Brummels signed with Autumn, where house producer Sylvester Stewart—later known as Sly Stone, of Sly and the Family Stone fame—produced the group's early recording sessions. The Beau Brummels took their name from the Regency era English dandy Beau Brummell.

Beau Brummels - Autumn Of Their Years (1964-66) | 60's-70's ROCK. While they only had two big hits, the Beau Brummels were one of the most important and underrated American groups of the 1960s. They were the first U.S. unit of any sort to successfully respond to the British Invasion.
They signed the Beau Brummels to their fledgling Autumn Records label, and their house producer, Sylvester Stewart, later known as Sly Stone, recorded the band's early sessions. [2] The group's first single, " Laugh, Laugh ", was released in December 1964 and peaked at number 15 on the United States Billboard Hot 100 chart in February 1965. [3]
