Teaser and the Firecat is the fifth studio album by Cat Stevens, released in October 1971. At the Australian 1972 King of Pop Awards the album won Biggest Selling LP.
El piano de Wakeman introduce la poética “Morning Has Broken”, y a lo largo de él deja su inolvidable impronta acompañando la voz y guitarra de Stevens. “ Bitterblue ”, con letra de amor anhelado, es otro de los temas con presencia protagonista de la batería.
Su dócil guitarra acústica junto a la de Alun Davies se ensancha con la instrumentación folk griega que le retrotrae a sus ascendientes en “Rubylove”, con los reflexivos teclados del propio Stevens y de un no acreditado Rick Wakeman, o con los hermosos arreglos de cuerda de Del Newman.

Stevens worked out the piano-led arrangement in the studio with Rick Wakeman, who by chance was working at another studio down the street and was invited spontaneously to join the session.
