His grandmother was Jewish. When Jarre was five, his parents separated and his father moved to the United States, leaving him with his mother.

A mí también me encanta la película, pero en realidad es la banda sonora la que puede hacerme llorar (en el buen sentido, creo, y con bastante rapidez). A veces es bueno recordar de esta manera. La partitura de Maurice Jarre es hermosa, discordante, exótica y aterradora al mismo tiempo.
