Louis is emotional, wants to hang on to as much humanity as he can, and he doesn’t revel in being a vampire the way that Lestat does. He also wrestles with his memory and, like many of us, is prone to tell a version of events that make him look better, or like a victim.
Our interviewee for this episode is journalist Catherine Deveney – who interviewed Clifford on three occasions.

I didn’t do that interview so I could get back on TV. But it was a sweet thing he did. And, really, the man knows how to interview.
