Who were Harold and Kumar, and why was them going to White Castle such a big deal. Because they were hungry. Fictional movie characters, and the entire plot of the movie is that they really want to go to White Castle. They were stoners who really craved a burger.

The officer pulled up and found the contraband Kumar left behind in the car, but it was blamed on the Extreme Punks who owned the vehicle. Sidenote: There was a "blooper" in this scene.
