SW in particular has become an absolute hot bed of terrible writing and it rightfully gets called on it. If you just throw out one of the buzzwords misogynistic, racist, homophobic, etc then you don’t have to actually talk about the critics. You get to just hand wave all criticisms as a bunch of assholes and look away.
