Hace 1 día · Mind you, as a guitarist, my choices for superstar status are somewhat biased. For that my apologies. ===== 1938 – 1969. Rock and Roll as a music genre did not really arrive on the scene until the late 1940s, early 1950s, along with the post World War II baby boomer generation.
This reminds me of that discussion about how country is the new rock or rock is kind of dead but independent country is doing great. I'm kind of noticing that Mark knopfler is having a big revival and a lot of people are discovering him again. I think he was like the first guitar player I was aware of as a kid by name.
