Hace 5 días · 1404 posts · Joined 2018. #4 · 24h ago. OEM is my recommendation as well. Never had an issue with the OEMs on my old 2015. I would go as far as say no aftermarket sensors ever, not even a MAF. With bricks stores it took 3 exchanges and return before I got a good aftermarket MAF.
Hace 5 días · The 2 crank sensors on the side of the engine block have been removed and now only 1 crankshaft sensor is now located in the valley by the starter. The crankshaft is now forged steel with a 58x reluctor wheel. The camshaft sensor is now positioned to read a signal off the Right-Hand Intake camshaft sprocket.

A lot of S&S engines are shipped with a crank position sensor hole plug to prevent leakage of fluids during shipping. This plug must be removed to allow installation of the stock crank sensor. My guess is there will be a lot discarded bins ...
