Hi, I’m currently thinking of getting my first ants. After a lot of videos and reading I’ve nailed it down to the 2 mentioned above. I currently could get one of these options: 1x Lasius Niger Queen and 11-25 workers 1x Formica Fusca Queen and 26-50 workers 2x Formica Fusca Queen and 35-60 workers
Hace 5 días · We have 4 genera - Brachymyrmex, Camponotus, Formica, Lasius, in the sub family Formicinae in NB. This key covers all of the genera in NA but with a bit of work can be used to separate our 4 genera. Of course, one has to work out how to separate the Formicinae from the other 3 subfamilies in NB - Ponerinae, Dolichoderinae, Myrmicinae!
