Almost 5 years later. The return to Panorama Bike Park. I spent 2 summers working out here before Covid and had the absolute time of my life. The Mount Norquay Chairlift is worth it alone for the views, they are spectacular, but even better is enjoying the mountain scenery over lunch at the incredible Cliffhouse Bistro!
Hace 5 horas · Owen Davis, who worked and lived at the Top Station of the ill-fated Alpine Way to Charlotte Pass Chairlift in 1964-65. Picture by Tim the Yowie Man. One of those who worked for much of the doomed chair's short life was chairlift driver Owen Davis. In fact, Owen was last person to walk out of the Top Station when it closed in 1965.
