After breaking into the mainstream with their second album, Nevermind (1991), Nirvana hired Steve Albini to record In Utero, seeking a more complex, abrasive sound that was reminiscent of their work prior to Nevermind.
For these reasons many people believe Kurt Cobain was a legend and should be remembered forever. Their biggest album, Nevermind, sold over 30 million copies and was the 2nd Best selling album of 1991. On the other hand, some people would argue that Kurt Cobain was a dangerous and evil person who did not deserve his fame and credit.
