There was a bit of Lenny Bruce mania in the 1970’s, when he was the subject of an Albert Goldman biography (Ladies and Gentlemen, Lenny Bruce) and a Broadway play (Lenny) that was the basis for the movie that TCM is showing tonight. The film is well worth watching. Dustin Hoffman plays Lenny. Highly recommended.
