Hace 5 días · On May 22nd an important convoy had to be covered by Kitty-hawks and Spitfires. The convoy was, of course, within easy range of enemy bombers based on Sicily. Early Sections of Spitfires could not find the convoy.

Hace 4 días · The Fujimi Kitty Hawk and Conny are pretty nice kits. For a 1/350 scale Kitty Hawk or Forrestal, you can take a 1/350 Enterprise Hull and cut around a 3 to 4" section out of the middle to get a hull shaped correctly from the hanger deck down.
We for sure have Red-Shouldered Hawks in the area that I’ve seen just outside of our windows (you all identified one for me recently - thanks!). There’s also vultures (I assume turkey vultures) but I’m not worried about them since they’re scavengers. Cat pics for tax. Gray kitty is Sonic (the tiny girl), orange is Rhoswen.
