Hace 11 horas · The art of ‘character writing’ is of Greek origin, dating back to c.319 BC when the philosopher Theophrastus published his work On Moral Characters. Theophrastan characters are short sketches of foolish or vicious types of people, designed to teach readers how to interpret and react to stock figures such as the flatterer, coward, and newsmonger.

Reading. I'm a student (F20) and move around a lot for internships and work. Everywhere I go, people think of me so differently, and I feel worn down by how difficult it feels for me to authentically connect with people. I want to, but I feel like I come off as someone I am not.
