Der grundsätzliche Tenor des Albuns ist ein bisschen düster, teilweise zornig, grundsätzlich vielschichtig und niemals langweilig. Man merkt hier sehr deutlich, dass Brownstein und Tucker das schon sehr lange machen – die beiden funktionieren perfekt miteinander.
