Le New-Yorkais Joe English est arrivé en remplacement rapide et, apparemment imperturbable, Wings a passé un mois très productif dans la ville du Croissant, complétant ce qui est devenu un autre album gratifiant.
Bereits 1979 hatte mit Chris Slade das letzte Mitglied von Manns ursprünglicher Formation die Band verlassen. Mit ihm ging auch Lead-Gitarrist Dave Flett. Für diese kamen Steve Waller (Gitarre) und Geoff Britton (Schlagzeug) neu in die Band. Britton wird bereits kurze Zeit später durch John Lingwood (Schlagzeug) ersetzt.
