Hace 1 día · Sir Frederick Ashton (1904-1988) was the Royal Ballet’s founder choreographer, a prolific dance maker and more than anybody else instrumental in developing the English style of ballet. Yet, only a relatively small number of his works remain in The Royal Ballet’s repertoire; much loved works, to be sure, but hardly representative of the sheer richness and range of Ashton’s output.
