  2. I disliked Bleak Seasons the first time through. After about a dozen rereads, it’s up there with my favorites in the series. It’s crazy and ambitious and weird and I love it. The most WTF book I’ve read is probably Caine’s Law, though. And just like Bleak Seasons, I’ve come to absolutely LOVE what Stover did there.

  4. My husband just finished this and enjoyed it. He said the parallel/overlapping cities were really well done. I haven't read it, but Embassytown by China Mieville is one of my favorite books ever and I'm slowly working my way through his other stuff. I agree with u/maolette, we should nominate him for the next relevant vote!

It's set some years after Disco Elysium. Haven't read it myself, but I've heard it doesn't have the humour of the games and isn't that great.
