Andrew Russell Forsyth, FRS, FRSE (18 June 1858, Glasgow – 2 June 1942, South Kensington) was a British mathematician.

Andrew Forsyth graduated with the BSc(Eng) degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, in 1981 and he obtained the PhD degree in Power Electronics from the University of Cambridge in 1987.

Andrew Forsyth is Associate Dean and Chief of Staff in Yale College. He received his Ph.D. from Yale’s Department of Religious Studies in 2017, having previously studied in Scotland and at Harvard and Cambridge.
