Firstly max and neil are two different characters, Nolan did this to confuse the already confused audience. Secondly, Neil clearly says that he is recruited by the tp in future. So tp orchestras all things from the future. He sees to it that all things go as planned, which ofc they’ll be.

Your opinion on whether tp and Neil entered Priya’s residence was dramatic or was it plain. At least Tenet has a male lead and the majority of the movie is practical effects and clever cinematography unlike Furiosa, which was rendered in Unreal engine. Backward scenes looked incredibly stupid and goofy. Especially when characters run backwards.
