Mortal Kombat 2 was recently given its release date and the sequel is set to drop in theaters next fall. He is also expected to return for more episodes of Shogun , as there are reportedly plans for another two seasons to be made of the actor's hit FX series.
While Ken Watanabe has done good action in the past (Last Samurai comes to mind), Hiroyuki Sanada is probably the GOAT for playing Japanese action characters. Especially the elder gentleman-warrior type today. That said, let's get both in the movie!
