In downtown Brooklyn alone, the Law School is within walking distance of the US Courthouse, the New York State Supreme Court, the New York City Criminal and Family Courts, and the Appellate Division, Second Department. We are also in the middle of the exciting Brooklyn Tech Triangle.
LL.M. degree program. Brooklyn Law School offers an LL.M. program for foreign-trained lawyers. The program facilitates specialized study in three subject areas: business law, intellectual property law, and refugee and immigration law. Joint degree programs. Brooklyn Law School’s LLM program in American Law offers lawyers trained abroad the opportunity to study US law and to learn how US lawyers approach specific types of legal issues. The program is also designed to train foreign lawyers in using legal English as it is used in US legal practice.
