I need a "golden token of friendship" to get the true ending. I have beaten the birdcage ending. I have beaten a non-story mode playthrough against the program master. I assumed the character I sacrificed towards the end of that boss fight would get a "golden token". But they did not. I have viewed every disc/cutscene available to me.
