Hace 3 días · Mohammad Abdus Salam NI(M) SPk (/ s æ ˈ l æ m /; pronounced [əbd̪ʊs səlaːm]; 29 January 1926 – 21 November 1996) was a Pakistani theoretical physicist. He shared the 1979 Nobel Prize in Physics with Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg for his contribution to the electroweak unification theory.

I am not sure if you know but Dr Abdus Salam was a theoretical physist. While he was attached to Pakistan's Outer-space program, but he had nothing to do with Pakistan's nuclear weapons program. While we are at it; it is tragic that a man of his caliber had to leave Pakistan because of the charged political environment against Ahmadis in Pakistan.
