The International 2021 was the concluding tournament of the 2021 season of Dota Pro Circuit and the tenth annual edition of The International which returned to Europe for the first time since 2011.
Top four teams in each group of Group Stage start in the Upper Bracket. 5th-8th placed teams in each group of Group Stage start in the Lower Bracket. First round is played in a Bo1 then all matches are played in a Bo3. Grand Final is played in a Bo5.
The International is the longest-standing and most popular event on the professional Dota 2 calendar. The first International drew attention due to its staggering $1.6 million USD prize pool, the highest prize pool of any single esports tournament at that time.
The International 2022 was the concluding tournament of the 2021-22 season of Dota Pro Circuit and the eleventh annual edition of The International, which returned to Asia for the second time.
Eighteen teams divided in two groups of nine teams each where they play in a round-robin format. [1] All matches are played in a Bo2. Top four teams in each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the Main Event .

The International 2021 (originally named The International 2020) was the tenth iteration of Dota 2's flagship annual championship. Hosted by Valve Corporation, it took place at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania.
