Hace 4 días · Man I know we’re talking about 335s but Otis Rush’s singing blows me away every time. We talk about sustain with a guitar, but that opening “welllllllllllllllll” he belts out - THATS SUSTAIN! And his playing ain’t half bad either! Otis Rush was a Force of Nature! Kinda under appreciated imo.

But a lot of these things where he had just bits and pieces, I would actually put them together, and we'd make whole songs out of him and go in the next day and record them. So we had a lot of fun together. Otis was a great guy to work with and he was a great friend.
