‘Hey Bulldog’ is a really great example of this. This song has the proud distinction of having one of the Beatles’ absolute coolest main riffs. The piano line that leads this one off has such Bond-ian swagger to it, so much dick-swinging drama, that you naturally expect it to compose the bulk of the song.

I suppose Something could be the Hofner as the playing style is similar to the Hofner-played I Want You. But that Hofner has lousy intonation and is very pitchy throughout its octave and high note runs on IWY.
