Majorly popularised by the Andipandaram community, which lives in Paruthippuly village in the Palghat region of Kerala, this form of puppetry involves the puppets being dressed in lavish kathakali costumes.

I am in the process of creating a pangolin I want its eyes to open and close when I pet it but I can't find a puppet mechanism for eyes where the eyes are on the sides of the head like a dragon. I will also like the tongue to go out and retract but I'm not sure what kind of mechanism I can use for that?
