Hace 6 días · Film Weird, but Great . Donnie Darko is a very strange film. The overarching plot is an intentional Mind Screw, but never to the point that the film becomes incomprehensible. Richard Kelly creates a mix between a unique take on the Coming of Age genre, Horror, and Time Travel, and succeeds in merging these genres into a brilliant film that is simultaneously foreboding, funny, and meaningful.
