My dog is about 8 years old. I’ve had him for just about 2 years. He was rescued. I was working at an animal hospital and picked him up when someone called and said that he was just abandoned by his owners and their kids were allergic. I have a feeling they were the owners but I can’t judge based on my assumptions alone.
