IMO the sign doesn't do it justice - Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Bob Seger, George Clinton/Funkadelic, and so many more have recorded here. My favorite is that Bootsy Collins recorded the classic song "I'd Rather Be With You" (as well as the entire album it's featured on) in there.
