Hace 5 días · The 48 th ronin was familiar territory for Koichi Sato, who had earlier played that person as Iemon in Fukasaku’s mix of Yotsuya Ghost Story and Chusingura. (I think many of the flashback scenes of the raid actually come from the same movie, though I could be mistaken since there is necessarily a certain similarity of costume in many of the versions.)
